CoD 2 X05 movie tops trenches

Infinity Ward showed us what its made of at X05, and now we're letting you have a peek too
In a missed opportunity for a truly hilarious innuendo-based gag, Call of Duty: Big Red One wasn't in Amsterdam at X05 this year, due to it being current-gen bound only. However, Infinity Ward's proper CoD sequel - that's Call of Duty 2, for all those missing important brain cells after the weekend - was and OMG!!111 it's looking good.

So good in fact that our very own CVG Sam Fisher infiltrated the shadowy corridors of the X05 complex and procured this mighty fine movie footage of the game - all through the use of microscopic video cameras and a tiny microphone peaking out of his... well, you don't need to know all the details.

Needless to say, the results don't exactly have "Academy Award Nominee" stamped all over them, but they do give you a good idea of just how astonishingly attractive Call of Duty 2 is looking at this stage. In fact, it wouldn't be an exaggeration to say that if it was a real life human being, we wouldn't waste a minute taking it out to dinner and trying to get it drunk.

Anyway, you know the score - click the link, feel a bit giddy, sit down with your head between your knees then tell us a story in the forums. T'anks!
