Xbox Live update coming soon?

Webcams, tweaks and bug fixes on the cards for Microsoft's next rumoured Xbox Live update
Almost four years since its conception in 2002, Xbox Live is still uncontested as the king of console online services. Xbox 360 took the service to the next level with extensive integration and new features, but as expected Microsoft have a lot in store for the maturing service.

According to internet reports from Norwegian website IT Avisen, Microsoft are currently finalising a large Xbox Live Update. Along with useful bug fixes and tweaks - such as the ability to perform downloads in the menu background - the update is said to contain support for the console's elusive webcam, rumoured to be hitting stores soon.

We're not sure if we want to stare at our bellowing competitors as well as hear them, and we fear for the inevitable 'naked Halo', but any update to the service can only be welcomed.

I want support for USB Modems. I'm having to buy a Ł50 router on top of everything else, espcially seeing as I got the Core. Or at the very least for Microsoft to release their own Xbox 360 modem that I at least know will work.

FFS, theres a USB port right next to the Ethernet, and I don't have wireless!
