Does for you, like us, killing zombies fills your pants with throbbing joy? Then, fellow undead slaughterers, you should be extra-thrilled with knobs on to learn that a demo of Capcom's fantastic 360 splatterfest Dead Rising is shambling onto Xbox Live.
An arrival date for the demo has yet to be confirmed, but a spokesperson for Capcom's Euro arm informed us this morning that news on that should be released shortly - like within the next 48 hours.
Similarly, it's currently unknown precisely what game content will be in the demo, although we've been told to expect to be able to roam around the game's shopping mall - the main stage for the undead killing action - and, well, splatter zombie parts all over the place.
Dead Rising's an ultra-violent action game with plenty of black humour that finds freelance photographer Frank West battling undead hordes. More details on the game can be found by simply sliding eyes right to our lovely 'Related' column.
exellent news !! along with Lost Planet Capcom seems to be well on top when it comes to supplying really good demos, and very early so we get our grubby hands on em well in advance of the final release!
Fantastic news, this game is going to be one of this years most fun titles. I know its gory and violent but being able to run riot in a shopping mall full of thousands of the undead, being able to use anything as a weapon is genius. Yes there is a main game too (saving people, photography and so on) but complete the game and it'll unlock the "free roaming, no time limit" mode! Xbox360 x Dawn of the Dead = Perfection
Cool, loved Lost Planet, I was a bit dubious of Dead Rising, but I've seen how the game has been moving along and it does look a game I'd enjoy. One more thing Saint's Row demo is now available on Marketplace
