Bioshock out June in Europe, 2K confirms

2K Games has dropped us a line this afternoon with confirmation that Bioshock will release in the UK and Europe on PC and Xbox 360 in June.

Earlier today, after confirming a June date for North America with us, the publisher told CVG a simultaneous release on these shores was likely but at that time was unable to say for definite.

i think at e3 they announced it only for 360 and pc.

ok but they never actually denied it... they did bring Oblivion to the PS3, along with most of their sports titles... and of course GTA IV... what's to stop them from Bioshock?

Hell yeah. I'm wanting this so bad I can taste it. If it has any of the atmosphere that System Shock 2 provided, then it will be immense.

its gonna be ace for all...well except me as my pc struggles with anything after doom 3 and i aint got the funds to ramp up the graphics card or buy a 360. if only they could squeeze it on to wii. system shock 2 was outstanding

funnily enough though the Xbox 360 is not really much more expensive than the wii is it. Definatly not from amazon sellers who are flogging wii's for about 300 quid.

I'll be wacking in another graphics card myself I guess. Long have I waited for a spiritual sequal to System Shock 2 and if this game lives up to my expectations it will deserve no less.
