Flagship Xbox 360 RPG Blue Dragon has finally been confirmed for European release this September, and will be fully localized in to five different languages.
The Mistwalker RPG will come to Europe in French, Italian, German, Spanish and English, and two of the Japanese version's title songs will be translated into English.
We managed to get a preview of the English-voiced game this afternoon and the voice actors have done a great job of capturing the Japanese game's character.
Microsoft Game Studios also outlined some of the RPG's upcoming download content, telling CVG that the next update will bring a new option for re-arranged dungeons. Good news for Far-Eastern gamers who blitzed it over Christmas, then.
Don't forget to read our full review of the import version here.
Will the English version include the original Japanese voice acting and songs?
I hope so, as I hate it when a good game it distroyed by some very dodgy voice acting. Dev's/publishers keep going on about the cost of translating a game, so I have got a simple idea for them JUST translate the words and leave the voice in it original form.
I always watch Japanese films in Japanese and have the English subs, because Dubs can sound out of place, and it never sounds/loooks/feel right to me.
It's about time, I'll have to get my preorder in quick, and I hope we have a deluxe ver as that would be the one I would go for.
