PS3 scores Kane & Lynch, Crossfire

Eidos parent company SCi reveals shooters are heading to Sony's console
Eidos daddy company SCi has thrown in the towel and decided to release its blaster duo Kane & Lynch: Dead Men and Crossfire on PlayStation 3.

This sets up Kane & Lynch, the next shooter from the Hitman boys, for a simultaneous release on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC this year. Crossfire meanwhile, a new game from the developer behind the Conflict series, will arrive next year on the same platforms.

SCi also says it's in advanced negotiations for the film rights to the Kane & Lynch film, following up the Hitman flick which is currently in production with Fox.

Not sure what we're on about? Head over to our recent preview.

Wow ,the PS3 is sure getting almost ALL the good games coming .Other than Nintendo and MS exclusives and a bunch of games subsidised by MS as Mass Effect and Gears of War the PS3 will get it all .Those were rumoured to come to PS3 but were denied several times ,now the next announcements will be probably Two Worlds (Temptation in PS3 ) and Bioshock .

so basically, PS3 is good because some games which are on other platforms go to it as well?

Bioshock is already due to arrive on the PS3 at some point, but not until the 360 version has been out for a fixed 'exclusive' period (e.g. 3 or 4 months).

No ,PS3 is a good bet because it will get nearly all the occidental games and nearly all the japanese ones .Plus its own exclusives ,thats it .I wont get a Wii60 ,too expensive .After my calculation to have more or less what my PS3 gives to me I would need the 480 euros Elite +250 Wii+180 worth of Wiimotes for multiplayer+classic controllers (at least 60 for three ) +200 of the HD-DVD +80 for the Wifi for the X360 +60 each year to play online on the X360 (in five years some 300 )....thats about 1500-1800 euros to do things I can do with the PS3 for 600 .Sorry bud ,good try .

But your PS3 cannot play Mario galaxy Nights 2, RE umbrella chronicles, Metroid prime 3, Gears of war, Halo 3, Mass effect, Command & conquer 3, Dead rising, Lost planet, PGR 4, Forza 2, Alan wake, Blue dragon, Lost odyssey, Halo wars, can it?

The investment made in a console should not be based on what the hardware does it should be based on the gaming experience you will get from it.
