I must say, I never played the original and the only time I have ever seen NiGHTS was the random secret level that you fly through as Sonic in Sonic Adventure - I think it's accessible from the pinball table.

I always wanted to explore it because, similar to these shots, it looked damn good!

it looks, ok. but the dreamcast could have done this I expect some big improvements by the time of release.

Sorry, not impressed

I'm talking design and structure - obviously the graphics are going to be cack.

Sorry but the graphics are so 2003.

I thought the saturn version of nights looked crap when I saw the screenshots but it looked great in motion. So I presume the same will be the case here. Although these are only early shots and the early shots of sonic were pretty average and it turned out quite nice.

These are obiously early screen shots of a game very early in development and as you graphic buffs already know the Wii can handle much more.

I waas hopeing that the new Nights was going to showcase this but its early days yet and I got my Saturn out last week to play the old nights into dreams and I realised graphics do matter so come on sega and give us some proper eye candy!

These screenshots are truly terrible. However, like everyone has said it's early days so lets hope for some graphical improvement. I have high hopes for this seeing as NiGHTS was possibly my favourite Saturn game.

If they actually added some lighting and shadow effects so everything isn't at the same level of brightness, it might look pretty good. At the moment, it looks worse than the PC version of Resident Evil 4 on the PC (i.e. VERY BAD INDEED).

As has already been said, these are early shots. The levels on display have almost none of the random living things wandering around that the original was full of. The levels seem empty.
Ofcourse I dont know if any of this will be sorted. For all we know this is just a result of Sonic Team messing up yet another great license >_<
Fingers crossed....
