Ever wondered what Tim sounds like? Ever wondered whether Kieron's voice is as poncy as his writing? Now you can find out, with the release of the first official PC Gamer UK podcast.
Members of the PC Gamer team have a new duty: to steel themselves in front of a microphone and speak to the nation - indeed, the world! We'll be recording and releasing these 40-odd-minute verbal rambles to coincide with the appearance of every new issue of the magazine; with the June issue due out on Thursday 10th, now's the time.
So what will they be like? Well, you can get a taster by listening to our first effort here. Highlights include John babbling about his kitten, Kieron making an entirely inappropriate joke about Ross' mother, and some random blethering about games.
We're not trying to make the greatest podcast in the world - we're just trying to have some fun, and we hope you will too. Let us know what you think in the comments thread - all suggestions for future podcasts are very welcome.
Tim sounds like Jay. Bute generally, yay. Somebody played Morrowind with a nude patch. John made a spreadsheet joke and snored at Football Manager. Communist.
"Communism: Right idea, wrong species." -Jermaine Evans
Ross sounds younger and lesh posh than when I met him at the Twickenham-based World of Warcraft Press Conference back in... 2004, I think. I suspect he's using a stunt double.
Guys, if you enjoyed the podcast could you help us get it noticed by spreading the word on digg? There's a nice new popular podcasts tab here where you can recommend the show:
