Paper Mario heading to Virtual Console

According to the latest issue of US Nintendo Power, the original N64 version of Paper Mario will be arriving on the Wii's Virtual Console soon.

The official mag lists the Mario RPG as its 'top pick' from upcoming virtual console games, so we can pretty much take that as confirmation that it's not far off from release in North America.

In case you didn't know, the Paper Mario series also spawned a GameCube sequel and Super Paper Mario is due on Wii soon. You can read our hands-on impressions of that here.

One of the games i'm most looking forward too on the VC! Can't wait. We will probably get it around the time Nintendo bother to release Super Paper Mario over here, which i also can't wait to play.

That would be great but what are the chances of that happening?...

Anyway, I hope this paves the way for the orignal Paper Mario...Mario RPG on the Snes!
