Geometry Wars goes Wii, DS exclusive?

Geometry Wars: Galaxies and XBLA's Retro Evolved heading for Wii and DS. What will they think of next?
The latest issues of Nintendo Power has apparently revealed Geometry Wars: Galaxies and Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved for Wii and DS. Just in case you don't know, Geometry Wars is an awesome arcade shooter previously only available on Xbox platforms.

According to reports the issue says that Galaxies will take the franchise in a new direction by offering an expanded single-player campaign as well multiplayer options.

Kuju is said to be working on the project. We'll speak to the respective parties as soon as they get arrive at their desks for an update.

"Expanded single-player campaign"... Now with 10% more triangles!
I can't see how GeoWars could become a campaign... give you the same playing field, add time limits and call them "levels" maybe? That'd suck.

Also, dual analogue is Geometry Wars. How can they port it to DS which has no analogue, or Wii which has no anything?

I can't envision this ending well.

Just how much are they expecting people to fork out for a game that only costs a few quid on the Xbox?
