To celebrate the release of Tomb Raider Anniversary - which is in the shops today - Eidos has managed to hustle ten years worth of Lara Croft models into a London studio - and here are the photos!
We thought of doing something similar with 25 years worth of CVG editors, but half of them are untraceable wildmen and our office just can't deal with the fights. Oh, and one of them probably had a hand in reuniting these Lara models as well. Well done that man.
There they are then - down below sans Clenex or whatever your preferred accessories is. Oh, and for your convenience we've resized the original, super hi-def photos down to regular resolution.
What a collection of unfortunate looking women. Seriously. Hot bodies, pity about the faces. Certainly wouldn't say no, but wouldn't be persuing any of them too aggressively either.
To quote Family Guy: "That's like asking me to choose between Sarah Jessica Parker and Kirsten Dunst in a 'Hot Body/Weird Face' competition. It can't be done."
If I was getting paid to be dressed up in rubber and asked to stand next to similarly attired attraxtive ladies i'd be happier than a gimp at a PVC factory.
I would have loved it if one of them had really let themselves go in the 5-10 years since modelling as Lara. You could have had endless fridge raider jokes.
Makes me die reading all you lying f**kers, "ohh yer she looks a bit ruff, i'm not sure i would" haha you'd all give your right arm to give any of them a f**king good going over.
