Gav's already fired up the printer to make little replica boxes, and pretend that he didn't, in fact, just get Halo 2 PC in the mail but via a mammoth Microsoft bugger-up got a final, unrated copy of Bungie's third. He can dream, bless him.
There's only two days of the multiplayer beta left (and don't we know it), so if you were thinking about being social this weekend you might want to break off any prior obligations and start caning High Ground, not rubbish Snowbound.

I've been playing Halo 1 for the last week and was looking at the box the other night. It's kinda awful now looking back on it. It almost deserves to be in that worse covers article a few months back.
Thankfully, Halo 2 and by the looks of it, 3 are much better.
Interesting mention of two discs though... if the campain is split across them, this will provide entire ocean liners of fuel for vocal Blu-Ray-in-PS3 advocates to throw on the fires of DVD inadequacy arguements. omg xboxz biggezt game hazs to be spred on two disxzkss! bluray r teh kjing!! Never saw the harm in multi-discing myself. Getting off the couch after a few hours to swap a disc helps prevent bottom-atrophy and footrot. That's a fact! Would be intersting if it actually is 2 discs. As for multiple discs, i've always looked at the games that have them as being 'AAA' games. Just look at the likes of FF7, MGS1, Resi 2 etc... Strange i know but...

It's the normal HALO 3 for me. Ł39.99. I don't think there's much point in something that you'll only eBay in a month anyway. You can DL the documentaries for free, i'd guess.
Looking forward to a few "Oh. My. God." moments in Halo campaign... I'd probably be avoiding the multiplayer though... Something about Halo brings out the worst in some gamers.

Dont worry folks, its just coming on one disk. It was a f**k up on M$'s part. Plus you should take note that the Collectors edition comes with only two disks (game and bonus disk), its the Legendary edition that comes with 3 (extra bonus DVD)

I do hate the Wii, I'll give you that much, but I was just passing a comment. It's not an attempted argument starter nor is there really any trace of fanboyism.
