Halo 3 viral marketing attacks!

"Authorization and system access were taken by force. Irrelevant. There is no hostile intent."
Remember Halo 2's I Love Bees campaign? Well it looks like Bungie has kicked off another viral marketing onslaught for Halo 3, in the form of a cryptic poster on the official Bungie forums.

Forum moderator 'Adjutant Reflex', as he's known, has been causing a bit of a stir on Bungie.net, before buggering off to fan site Bungie.org where he's posted more mysterious messages.

You can read the Bungie.net thread in its entirety here, where Adjutant waffles on about "system integrity" and discusses how the Array requirements are "paramount" in bright yellow text.

On Bungie.org, "another good place", the mysterious poster returns to say "I am a facilitator. I will serve you. But not yet." Someone's obviously nicked the Guilty Spark's script from Halo 2 then.

As for the official nature of these posts, we reckon its definitely Bungie behind the gear sticks. Unless of course a loan wolf managed to hack the official forums and sticky up his posts for more than 24 hours (Bungie admins aren't that rubbish, are they?)

Their purpose however is still unknown. Perhaps the messages a pre-empting another I Love Bees-style viral site? We will of course keep you posted.

Wow... there are some serious Halo nerds in those Bungie forums. I like the game and all but I didn't even understand half of what they were talking about!!
