The first reviews of Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass, the series' first instalment on DS, are starting to trickle in from Japan - and it's scoring big.
Three out of Famitsu's four reviewing editors gave the game top marks, with the other rebel reviewer dishing out a near-perfect 9/10. The final score is 10 / 10 / 9 / 10 - (39/40), the highest scoring Zelda game ever behind GameCube's Wind Waker (cough, cough).
We're still waiting for actual details to leak over from Japan, but from our GDC play test we imagine the gorgeous visuals and remixed controls were a hit with the Famitsu panel.
As for us, you can expect our import review of Phantom Hourglass as soon as we reach the ending credits next week.
Please, please, please make it less linear than t**tlight Princess. Although, on a handheld and in pseudo-2D, I think that might be more forgivable.
Agreed as good as Twilight is as a game , it did betray how a Zelda game plays out with it's lets quickly go to another dungeon routine.Great moments and it could have been the best one yet if they just left things alone.
Ah come on of course they are gunna rate it high they are japanese and they all love that kinda game
They would rate games like gears of war like 5/10 as it dnt appeal to them
Nothing like a little racial prejudice to liven up your idiot posts eh?
I don't think he was being racist, you should make sure you know what your saying before you make those kinds of accusations, I know dandoc2 can be obnoxious sometimes but no one deserves to be called that unless they really are, very insulting indeed!
