FIFPlay is not an official site of EA Sports but that doesn't stop it putting suggestions about FIFA and FIFA Manager to EA's developers. The site has now received over 5000 ideas and suggestions about how to make the next FIFA better than all the rest.
There are a lot of good ideas on there, with most people asking for indoor football and every league and team in the world to be included in the new game.
"For the XBOX 360 you can incorporate some their new camera into your create-a-player feature, sort of like what some of the other sport titles will probably being doing," reads one. Another says EA should, "put in Celtic Park, it is quite vital, along with a real Champions League with patches, music, and openings."
But then there are the pure comedy gold suggestions that you literally could make up. Spelling and grammar unchanged for added affect:

Why dont you not drop fifa altogether? Come fifa 96′, i got sick fed up of the series but still you have pumped out similar games each and every year, milking money outta the fanboys pocket.

I always thought a referee mode for one player would be great in official tournaments for PES, well especially PES5, due to the appauling referee decisions where anybody could see a tackle wasn't a foul - a player as a ref would then be able to rectify that, and thus the match would be more fair. Of course, Konami wouldn't have put such a feature in, as that would be rightful admitance that the fouling and tackling system in that game, and PES6 still, is very poor.
if celitc parks in it so should ibrox and hampden seeing as the ibrox and hampden are the only grounds in scotland with a uefa 5 star rating. infact there is only 4 grounds in uk as far as i know with the five star rating and they are Scotland Hampden Park Ibrox Stadium England Old Trafford Wales Millennium Stadium

Hate to say this but EA have feature lists for the next few FIFA games. A feature scheduled for FIFA 2010 will not be in FIFA 2009. That's how they keep things seemingly 'moving forward'. They just hold their ideas back.
I think the guy that said they should have basically given up after Fifa 96 may have been onto something. Also playing as the ref in Fifa might actually be a good idea as you wouldn't notice the massive flaws in the game engine and physics so much. As the hardware moves on and the bar is raised in terms of expectations from games Ea just look more and more shoddy, its becoming harder for them to hide there mediocre game engines and graphics.
hmmmmm, pes will always beat fifa in an arm wresle. sure thier both good, but as actual football representations, pes is better. so why wont fifa stop trying to give pes a rematch when they know thier going to lose again?
cant wait for PES7... FIFA shud jus give up the rights to PES so we can have the perfect game...! Cant wait to see PES7 on the PS3... i'm sry but it just doesn't work on the xbox...
