E3: First shots of the new PSP

Well here we are again and we haven't even moved from the same seat we had in the Activision conference. All aboard for some Midway goodies.

4.46pm - We kick off with a Stranglehold movie: downloadable Demo for PC, 360 and PS3 is coming soon with full release for August. A PS3 collector's edition will feature the classic Hard Boiled and Stranglehold on a single Blu-ray disk.

4.50pm - Aqua Teen Hunger Force Zombie Ninja Prom am is announced, isn't that rather a strange title? Based on a US TV show apparently. Vin Diesel's The Wheelman is also announced as coming soon, with more details coming this summer. Five Wii titles are also planned but they're pretty casual.

5pm - A Blacksite Area 51 movie is playing. Doesn't look half bad either with some epic FPS alien thrashing action. Interviewed Harvey Smith, its producer this afternoon and he was very very interesting, but he's now on stage expounding more on the game. It's Unreal Engine 3 and there's a full demo in August for 360, PC and PS3, with release in September. Full co-op will be a big feature and there's some impressive boss battles and an interesting squad morale system.

5.05pm - Epic's Mark Rein is on stage and let's everyone know that Unreal Tournament is coming to PC and PS3 this very November. Just in case you missed it forum kids, that's PC as well. Hm. Rein is really keen to play up UT's mod community and mod making and you'll be able to make your mods and them onto the PS3 (once they figure out a few tech issues as one of the Epic guys told us this afternoon). Nice feature though. An Unreal movie finishes up and it's as awesome as you would expect. Jaw dropping.

5.12pm - That's all folks. We're off to grab a drink. Yummy. Short but sweet - that's the way we like it and UT and Blacksite are exciting us most.
