Looks good, but lets hope that Koj gives us some control over snake in the cutscenes, cos regardless of what happens in them, taking control away from the player for more then a minute sucks bottom!

i dont mind the cutscenes,as long as they arent too long...when they do come along,perhaps 3-4 minutes..back in the 90's a cutscene was a time to light up a cigerette and take time out,now its a time to take a swig of coca cola,LOL
im not sure i like the way MGS has gone. what happened to "tactical espionage action" this latest incarnation is - a) over the top super baddies, the characterisation and believability of the Characters in MGS1 was a large part in what made the game a great experience. from Revolver Ocelots personal vendeta and "duel in the street at noon" warped honour in combat, to Ravens Native indian take albeit with a big tank. what do we have here? robo-psycho docot octopus rip-offs and mecha Voltron dogs.
b) this is the biggest thing whihc puts me off - who wants to play a MGS game as an old grey ahired 80's mustached man, that's a shadow of his former self, and looks total ass. they f**ked up big style in MGS2 with raiden, when everyone wanted to play as the "bad-ass" Snake.
im not really looking forward to this. and believe it could have been invisioned so much better. i hope i'm proved wrong, but i'll wait and see
To nickypcouk; I do for a start. It shows the character is getting older, and the game looks very very good.
Also, I played, completed and even own Metal Gear Solid 2, and Raiden isn't as bad as everyone makes out.He's a noob, a rookie to the espionage action at that point, and his character shows it. Just because he had skin tight clothes, it doesn't mean to say that he's a pansy, and besides, most people will probably like him now that he's the new ninja.
Anyway, the game looks good, and I can't wait to play this the very moment that it arrives on the shop shelves. I just hope we get a demo, like we did for Sons of Liberty.
im looking forward to playing as old snake, it shows the game has come along way and that its getting older as is snake (unlike games like tomb raider where she never ages) also i think snake will still be badass no matter what

well he has only aged because of being a clone,everyone else are the same age...meryl,liquid ocelot,otocon....i think if it wasnt part of the story,he wouldnt of aged
As long as we're snake all the way through and Koj listens to all the negative and fixes it, this'll rock!
Metal Gear 1 was ace, Metal Gear 2 the tanker bit was ace (Raiden is a pansy, and not anywhere near snake!), and 3 as big boss rocked too. Lets hope he nails the whole of this one good and proper!

I love the Metal Gear Series (mostly the 'Solid' games). Metal Gear Solid was awesome (and the Twin Snakes remake). Sons of Liberty was.....well, it was ok, if a little weird. Snake Eater, was great (although again, the bosses added a kind of 'weirdness' about it). But I loved to hear Big Boss' side of the story
Am I the only one a little worried about this video ???? It just looks......well, s**t. I was REALLY looking forward to this. Now, Im not. Still, I shouldnt judge without playing it, I just know that these bosses, at the moment, ruin it for me.
Still seems like a joke (even though we know its not).
