Remember those old concept pics showing Mario, Master Chief and Katamari Damacy in LittleBigPlanet? Well it looks like it's entirely possible to have them in the final game yourself.
"That was just early concept art," creative director Mark Healey informed CVG, "but you can customise your character so much that that's entirely possible." Our LBP character's going to have a nice set of Master Chief armour then...
Healey says that because you can pimp out your character with "stickers" imported from the PS2 hard drive, a character in Mario or Katamari gear is fairly straight forward to put together.
Will this sort of content wind Sony into trouble? Healey says the company is going to rely mostly on the game's community to moderate dodgy content. "It's hugely important," he said, "the first thing I'd do is make a big cock and publish it, but clearly we can't allow that." No we can't, Mark.

its a platformer where you can create your own levels, play them with friends and make your own character and as far as I can tell not much else. sounds rubbish as a single player game but a good multiplayer one no doubt.
think garry's mod with beanbag men instead of combine and good old Dr. Freeman, and only going sideways (there is 3d movement but the stage only goes back a few feat).
Looks very clever and original, but I'm not sure how much long term fun it'll be. How many levels are you gonna really want to run through before you get bored?
Still, definetly looking like one of the best PS3 exclusives coming up and something I'd like to try.
People moan at Ninty for making party games and a party game is supposed to save the PS3?, im not convinced it will work.
