This is their archive, where podcasts both old and older are stored. This way, when the nuclear bombs go off, future generations will still have entertainment.

Sadly in all likely hood the electro magnetic pulse produced by a nuclear bomb will render the servers useless.
So the future generations are doomed to boredom and to arm wrestling there third arm.
It seems the episodes are numbered wrong. The link you've labeled episode 1 is the pilot ep, and each episode after that has a link to the episode before the one described. The file names look right because the numbers in the file names start at 1 for the pilot.

I have talked to some cryptographers and discerned Tim's baroque naming system for the Podcasts.
Just subscribed to the podcast via iTune, however it isn't showing all of the episodes, only episode 3, 4 8 12 and 13 we shown and so were able to be downloaded.
Am I doing something wrong? When searched on the web, I had managed to find all of the episodes but not through iTune (under subscribtion).
However if I use iTune Store, all the episodes were present (can live stream it), but after the (free) subscribtion not all the episodes were shown (as mentioned above).
