Rare's Viva Piñata has now joined the ranks of World of Warcraft in the getting-people-married stakes.
A dedicated Viva Piñata player in Jacksonville, Florida concocted a plan to get his girl by getting her hooked on 360 and VP. "I just bought a 360 and VP for the sole reason of getting my girl addicted to VP and on her own system," he boasts.
But it actually worked. "Well, I decided to propose to her this evening, so I sent the only diamond my digger has ever found, with a note attached asking her to marry me. When she got it (across the room on the other TV) she giggled and said I was silly. Then I pulled out the real deal, got on a knee and started getting cried upon. She said yes, so next spring we are getting married!"
Brings a tear to your eye doesn't it, the fact that they must have two TVs and 360 consoles in the same room? Imagine the LAN possibilities!
Are they gonna have their wedding ceremony via The Sims or something?! I'm torn as to whether this is sweet or kinda sad. What's the majority saying?
I think it's nice. It must be getting harder to be original when proposing. What with writing in the sky, fancy meal, big screen at the footie and getting her up the duff already being taken.
Having said that, doing it in WoW is just plain sad. At least Viva Pinata's cute.
Procrasurbate? Is that like pleasuring yourself using tantric methods?
Seriously, I think this is kinda cool. My misses (girlfriend of so long she may as well be anyway) used to be a big Star Wars: Galaxies player. I bet she'd have loved it if I'd have used a similar trick.
Course, I never would, marriage is the devils work.

I'd say they will have a happier life by not worrying about what other people think.
And in a perfect world, only good things would be said. Unfortunately though, a large amount of the net community seem to get bent out of shape on all kinds of topics that don't greatly impact their lives (ever read the aintitcool forums? There are people with some serious anger issues there!). So yeah, let's have romance win this one! Procrasturbate, I say congratulations and good luck to you both.

Thanks man, we will. I am just hoping for the Viva pinata cake decor to come out in stores so we can make a kool cake topper!. lol
Enjoy the wedding and all the best for all that follows.
I proposed to my wife on my birthday (in three days time it will be seven years ago) by saying "You will marry me, won't you?". For some strange reason this is frequently mentioned - can't think why...
