Free play for Ultima Online quitters

EA inviting former players of the MMO to try out the latest major update
Veteran MMORPG Ultima Online recently received a significant overhaul in update Kingdom Reborn, and EA is inviting former players to come and take in the new sights for free.

The "Return to Brittania" campaign, as the initiative is named, forms part of a celebration of the game's tenth anniversary, and ex-OUers can play for free through to October 9.

"Past subscribers in good standing will be able to play for free through October 9, 2007 by visiting www.uo.com/kingdomreborn/gamefiles, downloading Ultima Online Kingdom Reborn and logging in using their former account name and password", explains EA.

Celebrations will additionally include a monster hunt "with special prizes including an ankh pendant necklace, map of Brittania, Ultima Online commemorative sculpture and virtue armor set. Additionally, all players will receive 10 décor tokens and a wand of fireworks in their characters' inventory."

lol, well at least EA are following Valves play for weekend/month or whatever example, but talk about a sly way of trying to make cash( i dont think anyone would play a MMO seriously for 1 month and quit )

I haven't played Ultima Online since the Second Age, I am certainly curious as to what masses of veteran rewards are on my account by now.
