EA stuffs 13 C&C games into one pack

Compilation box Command & Conquer Saga due for release this month - in North America at least
13 games from veteran RTS series Command & Conquer are being squeezed into a new PC compilation pack.

Command & Conquer Saga, as the pack is called, includes the recently released C&C 3: Tiberium Wars and indeed more GDI and Nod warfare than you can shake Kane's goatee at.

To date, Saga's only been confirmed for North America where it'll release this month at $49.99. We're waiting on EA for word on any European release plans.

Command & Conquer Saga contains the following titles:

  • Command & Conquer (Aug. 1995)
  • Command & Conquer The Covert Operations (April 1996)
  • Command & Conquer Red Alert (Oct 1996)
  • Command & Conquer Red Alert Counterstrike (Mar. 1997)
  • Command & Conquer Red Alert The Aftermath (Sept. 1997)
  • Command & Conquer Tiberian Sun (Aug 1999)
  • Command & Conquer Tiberian Sun Firestorm (Feb. 2000)
  • Command & Conquer Red Alert 2 (Oct. 2000)
  • Command & Conquer Red Alert Yuri's Revenge (Oct. 2001)
  • Command & Conquer Renegade (Feb. 2002)
  • Command & Conquer Generals (Feb. 2003)
  • Command & Conquer Generals Zero Hour (Sept. 2003)
  • Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars (Mar 2007)

Aren't EA sick of making money yet? They just did this last year, oh but wait it has 1 extra game.
Next year they'll re-re-release it with the C&C3 addon pack as well, just watch.

My thoughts exactly. I love C&C but EA are just doing their usual franchise milking now.

I would be lovely if they'd get around to patching The First Decade to run on Windows Vista! Rolling Eyes

Then a year from know they will kill any internet servers for the games as they have done with all their sports title

Most of the games in the pack don't run online anyway, which is abit of a p**ser (think generals onwards work online, not sure about RA2)

Without the C&C3 addon its not even worth sniffing at.

And let's not forget: Last month the first C&C was free.

EA must surely have lost a lot of money on that. Probably can't pay any paychecks because of it ..... Twisted Evil

Is the first C&C in this or the first decade (or indeed the free download) capable of running at higher resolutions or is it standard 320xwhatever?

also i CANNOT BELIEVE i was playing C&C 12 years ago, I WAS 10!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
