New Xbox 360 bundle has cars, comics

Forza 2 and Marvel Ultimate Alliance to be bundled with Premium and Elite bundles in US
Microsoft hopes to fortify a recent Xbox 360 price drop with a newly announced hardware/software bundle that includes two "free" games.

Consumers will get Microsoft's Forza Motorsport 2 and Activision's Marvel Ultimate Alliance with the purchase of the $350 Xbox 360 or the $450 Xbox 360 Elite.

Together, the games are worth about $90 at retail.

The bundles will be available at US retailers by the end of October.

Microsoft cut the price of the multi-model line of Xbox 360s in August.

So one good game and one s**t game.
They should really be creating bundles aimed at different audiences.
For example;
- one aimed at car fans with Forza 2 and PGR4 .
- one aimed at FPS fans with Bioshock and Halo 3.
- one aimed at kiddies with Viva Pinata and Kameo.

I know those would really tempt me rather than getting turd games that you don;t want bundled in.

Looks like a smart call if you ask me...with the yanks loving all things "Marvel" it's a great way to up the 360's "must have" for crimbo status, and with Forza's graphics & rep. I think they'll sell quite a few more with this bundle and that's not even taking into account the behemoth that is H3!! Bill lend us a tenner mate!

I prefer PGR over Forza to be honest. It's a good bundle for the US market though they love both games so I can see it being pretty successful over there.

For the UK they should do a football bundle Razz or a driving one but include PGR4.

When I heard about Marvel Ultimate Alliance being bundled with the console a couple of months back it sounded like an odd choice, being a third party title that didn't sell majorly well or get much critical acclaim.
