Assassin's Creed confirmed for DS

US Nintendo release schedule confirms that no platform is safe...
Ubisoft plans to release it's top looking sneak-'em-up on DS according to the latest release schedule from Nintendo. US online retailers first mentioned the game in their listings back in June, but it all looks set to happen now.

Quite how it's going to work, we don't know. Top down? Third-person? Will it look as good as the 360 version? No, but it looks like Ubisoft's keeping up hanging on for screens.

The DS version is coming out in February next year, says Nintendo.

Until them you'll just have to make do with out latest hands-on impressions of the 360 version here.

Surely a version for the Wii should be more appropriate

Why put a game thats going to be s**t on the great DS?

i really hope ubisoft can do a decent wii port. as long as they don't bottomnal it up like far cry, i'd be happy. i'm tempted to get a core 360 just to play creed, but can't really afford one! so a wii version would save my bank balance. the wii is lacking a stealth type game, especially since manhunt 2 went down the pan last summer! come on not ds, wii please.

Haha, what a stupid idea, they should have learnt from Splinter Cell DS, i know i did. There's no point in making a DS version, a few people will buy it at first, but after word gets around about how s**t it is they'll just have to settle on the amount they get for the PS3 and Xbox360 versions, which will easily cover the cost of developing the DS version. Though a Wii port would be good, and make more sense then a DS version.
