The Xbox 360 version of Tomb Raider: Anniversary will hit UK retail on October 26, and be available as a download via Xbox Live in November.
Anniversary, which has already been well received on other platforms, is based around the original Tomb Raider game but features the new engine - obviously - and control scheme debuting in TR: Legend.
On Xbox Live, Anniversary will be released in two instalments, each containing two chapters and the mansion level. To access the content, a copy of Tomb Raider: Legend is required.
Eidos adds that "Additional downloadable content will also become available for purchase on Marketplace to support the launch of Tomb Raider: Anniversary such as gamer picture packs and theme packs."
Cool. I heard this had got delayed. I'd certainly pick this up as long as its not full retail price. If so then I'll just wait for the price to drop to a reasonable £25 like I did with Legends.
I loved elegnd and have been waiting for ages to get this, looks awesome. Will buy retail though despite having an elite harddrive simply because its more practical.
Loved the original Tomb Raider on the ps1 but after playing legend I am finding it difficult to get enthused about the old girl. Unless there has been a massive transorfmation in the gameplay style and in game ideas, (which i'm pretty sure there hasn't been) i have no interest in this latest re-hash whatsoever. ps: sorry lara.
