Valve offering real Companion Cubes

Portal's cutest star soon to be available on the Valve store
Valve has revealed what we already knew; real (well, cuddly) Weighted Companion Cubes from Orange Box puzzler Portal will be coming to the Valve store soon.

In addition, the plush Cube (which doesn't talk and won't try to stab you) will go on sale alongside a smaller pair of cubes made for hanging in your motor's rear-view mirror. We need these to complete the Valve toy collection on our desks (and, for the record, we're all man - all of us).

Valve also sends word of an important Source SDK update which lets users tinker with "custom game experiences for games in The Orange Box". Good news, because we've already hammered the custom Portal maps on the internet.

My housemate proposed the cuddly companion cube after that section of the game. I concurred that it was a great idea. I guess Valve must have been getting a lot of people wanting it to happen. I'll probably end up getting it, I already have a headcrab peering over my monitor, the companion cube will bring some much-needed love to my desk.

I just wanted to check with you guys seeing as i'm the only guy i know who has played portal through. The cube doesn't do anything right?
