We'll have an Assassin's Creed review with you shortly but, in the meantime, here are six new screenshots from the game.
Due out Friday on Xbox 360 and PS3, if you've been living in a cupboard, Assassin's Creed follows the story of Altair, a medieval assassin on operations at the time of the Third Crusade and the war in the Holy Land.
OK, enough of the ball-teaser screenshots, just roll-on Friday!
Have been hearing/reading good things about the gameplay on this as well and for me it's the best looking next gen/current gen title I've seen on any format and that includes GoW, Bioshock et al.
Can't wait, I've got the exclusive collector's edition on pre-order with Game.com, and have just seen that Play.com have the same figure/statue that's included in the above, on it's own, for £24.99
I remember when PS3 fanboys were saying this was the second coming and on Gamespot soembody claimed that the first revealling of Assassins Creed was running on an XBox everyone ignored him but then about 5 minutes later Ubisoft confirmed it since then PS3 fanboys don't even bother with it.
Not sure what your ramble means "fleeties!", but this is surely the game to demo the power of the PS3 to at least rival the power of the 360 if not surpass...i'm awaiting the intricate reviews with anticipation!
The scale of the game is truly awesome, the environments are massive, and there's loads of stuff to do in each so I can't see many people completing this in a hurry.
Controls are a doddle to grasp, took me about 30 mins to totally get used to climbing up stuff and jump to and from buildings.
Only thing that has frustrated me is the combat. It does seem kind of flawed. On the first proper mission, which may or may not be on youtube, I was getting totally raped by the guards and spent a fair bit of time having to run off and hide because they were just unkillable.
Despite that, I've found it does get easier and better the more you play. So have no fear doubters if you've preordered or play on buying it friday you ent gona be disappointed.
