PS3 gets Oblivion DLC

Expansion Shivering Isles to release on PSN on November 29
Oblivion expansion Shivering Isles is to release as a digital download for PS3.

According to Bethesda, the expansion will be available on PSN as of November 29, although it's not yet confirmed how much it'll cost. It also appears that initially the download will only be available in North American, where Shivering Isles has just shipped on disc.

The expansion features 30-plus hours of new adventuring, new quests, monsters and expanded freeform gameplay.

Presumably Shivering Isles hitting PSN will pave the way for further DLC for Oblivion on PS3.

Great - Dunno which one I'd get - GOTY Oblivion or this DLC one?
wildhook2 on 21 Nov '07
I thought that shiovering isles and knights of the nine were both included with oblivion on ps3 Confused

Shivering isles is very good though.
DAEDALUS79 on 21 Nov '07
No, the PS3 version of Oblivion only included the Knights of the Nine expansion.

I suspect this Shivering Isles download will cost around £20, the same as the 360 one.

Great news but I would wait for GOTY version.

Good to get an update im assuming it'll be around £20.00 like the 360 one but im no-where near completing the actual game yet so wouldnt invest just yet, but hopefully we'll get some more DLC like the 360 one has as well.

Brilliant news, I complete the Knights of Nine content and was hoping we we get Shivering Isles as a download. Cool

Anyone know when we get this content on disc in Europe for 360?

Good news for PS3 though, Oblivion is fantastic and the more the better.
