Things will get off to a good start in 2008 for PlayStation gamers, as Sony confirms a promising Q1/Q2 launch line-up.
The list from Sony US puts Gran Turismo 5 Prologue on track for a Q1 release in the States, while the silky-smooth WipEout HD is pencilled in for a more vague "early 08" release.
Sony UK, however, has told CVG this morning that GT5 Prologue will also hit UK PS3s in Q1, while placing WipEout HD at a slightly more specific Q2 release.
PSP owners should also be looking forward to March, when God of War: Chains of Olympus crashes on the handheld.
I'll wait then, its still not worth getting a PS3 until at least March, GTA4, LBA, Home, Wipeout, GT etc etc
hmmmm except GTA4 is on 360 as well with extra content gaurenteed, LBA looks nice but will last about 4 hours before it starts colecting dust, home will be delayed another 12 months cause they cant make it work and wipeut is...well...its just a prettier version of wipeout.

That's nice that you wasted your time typing that all out, but in the end, Sony is still asking folks to shell out money for a demo.
And unless Sony has actually used any of its processing power to beef up the AI, the game is going to be rubbish, yet again.
Good to see Wipeout and Hot Shots Golf on the scene--though, it likely won't beat out anything the 360 has lined up. Add to that the GTA4 exclusive content...and it's another lackluster PS3 quarter FTL.
Wow what a s**te list of games. Nothing that screams buy a PS3 to me but thats my opinion as I have never liked turisimo and wipeout has been ho hum since the 1st( which sold me on an original PS1 when I saw it running in a console shop).

I'd say something sarcastic about the PS3's '08 line-up, but I have no idea what's coming out on 360 next year.

Yeah theres rumors going around star ocean will no longer be PS3 exclusive as well. Fingers crossed they are true.

It wouldn't be bad if they reimbursed you when you buy the full game... but thats not going to happen is it?
Chances are they've continued with the crap AI and need to constantly repeat dull uneventual races just to get a "slightly better" car with which to repeat the same dull races over and over again, so its not as if we don't know what to expect.
360 owners may have to pay for Live but they don't get charged just to play a demo.
It ought to be boycotted, if they get away with charging for this they'll start charging for everything.
