PES handheld details

Infinitely more finished than the PS3 version
Konami has coughed up some details on the portable versions of PES 2008, which is being worked on by Konami's football studio in Tokyo.

The PSP game will share a lot of content with the existing PlayStation 2 game (and not the broken bits of the PS3 version) such as a wide range of tournaments and leagues.

Full Edit modes are also in there and Master League info can be swapped between the PSP and PlayStation 2 versions, as can League, World Tour and Cup Mode data.

On the DS side of things you'll get modes such as Exhibition, Penalty Shoot-Out and Konami Cup. Wireless features are also being used with a Network mode allowing up to four players to have a virtual kick about (if they've all got copies of the game). One-on-one games however can be played with just one copy.

Lookout for the handheld versions in shops early next year.

Why is it just the ps3 version cvg mention? The 360 version is the same Rolling Eyes

I never understood why the PS2 version has loads more tournaments and the World Tour mode as well as a full edit mode and the community mode.
All us 360/PS3 users get is a high graphics and unusable online mode.
I used to play Pro Evo 6 alot online on my 360 but 2008 is simply unplayable online.
Very poor. It is even tempted me to go to the dark side (Fifa200Cool. The only thing stopping me is that all my mates (online and offline) are hardcore Pro Evo fans so I would be the only one playing Fifa.
I just hope 2009 is a marked improvement.
