Let's be honest here, the fact that Paradise City is on there can't be a shock. In fact, it's probably the first track they got the license for. Or they had it and used that to name the game.

But that's quite a list of tracks. Some I've never heard of, some I know the bands but not the tracks. Either way, in impressive selection. It's not Crackdown, but it's pretty good Smile
Dajmin on 18 Dec '07
Glad I can use my own playlists with the 360 (can't this be done with the PS3?). I still play Burnout Revenge every so often and my playlist for that makes it so much more enjoyable. When this does come to the 360, it will be no different.

Sod this gash...

Why the hell does every game have to have Rock & crap metal shoehorne into it? Evil or Very Mad Thank god for custom soundtracks

Beacuse hard rock/metal suits this type of game.

What I want to know is why is half the Dominator soundtrack still there especially Avril Lavigne Girlfriend, as if 5 or 6 different versions of it on Dominator wasn't enough torture Mad

rock is pish! mosher balls. burnout is one of the only games where i turn the music off, its f**king s**tE! the only good artist there is junkie XL, which is dance in amongst rock and other headbangin bulls**t. idiots.

wipeout HD soundtrack looks tasty. full of great pumping EDM tracks. and theyre not well-known cheesy choices either, u can tell the guy who done the soundtrack knows what hes on about, unlike this burnout snooker cue..

techno music it should be for high speed antics, not rock or mosh or whatever the f**k this s**t is.

I didnt know chavs could use computers these days. Well done! Its like watching a monkey use tools. Just dont show your friends/homies/bredrins or whatever there called these days, or the internet is ruined. Go mug an old lady or spray paint a youth center...

Hmm you obviously think everything should be made to suit you. I love the burnout soundtracks, they have turned me on to a few great bands.

So anyone who likes dance music is a chav?
You sure you've got enough tar on that brush?

And it's brethren. Rolling Eyes
Dying_Gasp on 18 Dec '07
Am I the only one who quite likes this list of music tracks? I'm obviously not keen on every single one, but still a good mix. Burnout games have always had good soundtracks.
ginsin on 18 Dec '07
I've heard of about 4 of them artists! EA trax have always been s**te
the monk 21 on 18 Dec '07
a good example of thrift! They save money by putting half the list from dominator (thankfully without 4 variations of Avril Lavigne's Girlfriend: Very Happy ) but the rest is all classic rock. yawn.

No, everyone who describes the entire genre of rock as "pish! mosher balls" must have some estate style ghetto about them. Ok, so the music isnt great, but lets not drag an entre genre down just 'cos your (the original poster) inbred albino yardie.
Oh and "brethren" is a word for brothers amongst christianity (you can wikipedia that), and has nothing to do with the chavy version of bretheren/bredrin/bread-bin, which is clearly a minority s**tting all over the english language, as its one of the few things they truelly excel at.
For further studies of chav english abuse see "bare", "vex" and "bounce".

Rolling Eyes Oh dear, more regurgitated tosh. If you scratch below the mainstream surface of dance, you'll find the most diverse musical genre on the planet that's appreciated by hundreds of millions - so there's no need for mindless uninformed insults like this.

To be more relevant though - the tracklisting seems to be quite alright. It's hardly exceptional but it should fit the game's general aesthetic quite well.

What a fantastic soundtrack!! Killswitch Engage, Guns N' Roses, Alice in Chains, Faith No More, Junkie XL. Quite a fantastic soundtrack.

Although, then I see that they included Senses Fail and Avril Lavigne - and that brings it down.

9.4/10
d-suhiti on 18 Dec '07
No, not Avril Lavigne! Not Girlfriend! Didn't I suffer enough with that damn song in Burnout Dominator, in English and Spanish? What the hell are they thinking?

OK all game developers just put dance music in all your games from now on cause this snooker cue doesn't seem to like rock and headbangin bulls**t so you must be idiots for giving us a wide sample of different types of music. we don't have different tastes and only like the same music as the k**b quoted above. infact f**k it why don't all game developers just put the one album on your sound tracks. Now Dance 43. or just wigfields saturday night. we owe you a great service mr vercetti102. thank you for saving us all from the horror of rock music. from now on we can all listen to just dance music. would you like all the radio stations in GTAiv to be dance ones pumpin out the same repetitive cheesy scooter song as well. bet you don't like guitar hero. that must not make any sense to you at all.

Blame America. They don't really like the techno out there, and since most copies of this game will be sold in the States...

Still, there is some LCD Soundsystem in there for you. Not that I care, I like the rock. Smile
Thalanos on 19 Dec '07
well I feel they should put the burnout 2 soundtrack just for choice Very Happy
