Depsite the fact it clearly doesn't support Blast Processing, Sega has released the original Sonic the Hedgehog on iPod.
It's available for purchase now on the iTunes shop for £3.99 (that's less than price on Xbox Live Arcade), which gets you the full game along with the option to play your own iPod music in the background. Sonic and Prodigy finally meet.
You can play one-handed by simply tapping left or right on your scroll wheel and jumping with the center button, or you can opt for traditional two handed controls.
All Sega has to do now is port it to the little LED on our fridge, and there'll be a version of Sonic on every electronic platform known to man.
