No "specific" 360 UT date

Epic's Mark Rein has re-confirmed that he erm, cannot confirm a solid release date for Unreal Tournament III on Xbox 360.

"We don't have a specific release date yet," the Epic VP told CVG, in response to magazine reports to the contrary. "Right now we're finishing up the European PS3 version."

A German magazine kicked off rumours this week, when it reported that the Xbox 360 version of Unreal Tournament III will be released in April and is approximately "90%" finished.

It was released on the PlayStation 3 last month in North America but there's still no European date and no word on how much lead Sony will have over the Xbox 360 version.

got this on PC, and while it is pretty running on high settings, I'm just not fussed. If you've got Gears and COD4 there really aint much point in getting this. Single player has some really bizarre voice acting and what's with all that Flag stuff?

The sensible time to release this would be May. That way they have distanced themselves from all the other FPS releases meaning people might be hungry from something else.
Like someone said though, this game isn't all that great. Got it on PC myself simply because I fell into the hype that is "it's from the makers of Gears of War!"... Embarassed
