Nine new screenshots from GSC's new S.T.A.L.K.E.R. project, Clear Sky, have bombed onto the internet. Take a look.
Clear Sky kicks off a year before events portrayed in Shadow Of Chernobyl. Imagine, if you will, that the Chernobyl exclusion zone is a very big pie with the power plant at its centre.
It's not a particularly nice pie - the folks at Fray Bentos shouldn't be unduly concerned - but the original game covers what's essentially a southerly slice of it.
The prequel, meanwhile, gives you an extra slice of this metaphorical pie at the same time as covering some noteworthy changes within what we've played through already. So much so that the game is 50 percent new areas, and 50 percent twisted renditions of what you've played before.
can't wait. hope they sort out most bugs before release so u can in fact play the game before 4 months has gone past and the patches make the game stabilized enough.
hope they include 4 meter tall, 15 meter long asid spitting wormy mutant things that live in severs (they need to glow green in the dark). cos hunting one, or getting ambushed by of those would be really memorable
I will (of course) be waiting for the reviews to come out first, but chances are that this is gonna be a must-buy for me when it comes out. I hope they don't push the graphics *much* further than the original and that it will run on my rig as smooth as SOC did.
