Smash Bros. sticker scheme

Reminds us of swapsies in the playground
Stickers will play a prominent part in upgrading your characters in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, the official website revealed today. It might be worth re-reading that sentence to make sure you didn't just make it up in your head.

You can pick up stickers throughout the game and each sticker houses a special power up. Usually the bigger the sticker is, the more dramatic the power-up will be.

To benefit from these power-ups, you must paste the stickers to the bottom of your trophy base, but it only has limited space for a finite amount of stickers. It sounds like yet another RPG advancement system in a colourful and playful disguise.

Unfortunately, stickers can only be used within the single-player mode The Subspace Emissary and will have no use in standard brawls.

Whether this is a good or bad thing is beyond comprehension at this point. It's just another thing that Smash Bros. seems to be doing, along with solving the middle-east crisis and ending climate change.

The buttons in the screen shots look like gamecube buttons. I wonder if they change depending on which controller you use.

On a weekly basis this game throws up another surprise or another feature.

As long as all these features are well realised, and not just bolted on, this will be very special indeed.

I, for one, cannot wait. Very Happy

This is a great feature, and because it doesn't consume the whole game, (limited to the single player adventure,) I reckon it'll give a good level of adjusting one's preferences.

Don't tell me you never wished that your character of choice would've just been a bit more durable, or had a tad more bite on his/her attacks.

The game uses the classic controller.

I thought this was a bad idea. Until I saw it was only for a certain mode. Now I like it! =D

The game uses the classic controller.

The game uses classic controller, Sideways wiimote, Wiimote and nunchuck combo, or gamecube controller.
Similar to Mortal Kombat on wii.

I think all traditional games should have this option. Hopefully We can play Mario Kart without the stupid wheel
