Ratchet & Clank PSP moves to PS2

Following a string of rumours, it turns out Sony's PSP platformer Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters is coming to PS2 very shortly.

There's no official announcement on the title (and Sony's not quite done with their toast yet, so our phone calls are going unanswered), but a recent PlayStation Underground e-mail from Sony flags up the port, apparently hitting North American shelves in March.

Size Matters was released on PSP about a year ago and marks the first title in the series developed outside Insomnia Games (High Impact Games take over here).

The developer is also working on another handheld Ratchet outing, Secret Agent Clank, due out later this year. Don't rush to the shops to get a PSP though, you've probably got only a year to wait before it's on PS2...

UPDATE: A Sony spokesperson has confirmed to CVG that Size Matters IS coming to PS2 and will also hit Europe sometime in March.

Fantastic news! I'm a huge Ratchet & Clank fan, but I didn't want to get a PSP just to play this game. Now I don't have to Smile.
