A supposedly leaked screenshot of the Super Smash Bros. Brawl character select screen reveals that the full has got an massive 44 playable fighters.
So far only 25 of those have been confirmed on the game's official site, but if this screenshot turns out to be genuine, Nintendo has been keeping a fair bit secret, even when we thought it'd all been revealed.
The screen (pictured below) shows characters like Baby Bowser, King K. Rool (DK Country), Krystal (Star Fox Adventure), Ganondorf and more as fully playable characters.
Take a look for yourself and get all excited. March 9 is the US date. Europe can't be that far behind (it had better not be).
I reckon it's fake.... The images of the characters look a bit random and just thrown together from various box art and the like... especially how some are illustrations, some are renders and some are game graphics.
I prays to teh GODS! I hope this is real. I think that cartoon zelda's litlle pic would probably be an illustration anyway due to his.. well... cartooness. This kind of image wouldn't be too hard for photoshop ninjas to make though.... i guess i'll have to just wait!
But just as a precaution of this character list actually being a reality, I just made some love mayo in my undercrackers. don't tell anyone. I don't need that kind of press.
Who's that between Olimar and Lucas? It looks like it says something "...man".
I still wish both Mega Man and Bomberman would be included. Still, there's hope for download via VC...though Nintendo, you'd be better releasing some patch or hard drive for all this type of stuff!
I remember the time it took me to finally choose and then perfect my best character on the original Smash Bros... But it looks like I'll be MIA until christmas with that many characters!!!
