Namco classics coming to Wii

Games Museum Remix released on March 2008
Namco Museum Remix is coming to Wii consoles in March.

Namco Museum Remix features fourteen Namco arcade games, five of which have been given a graphical makeover and now utilise the motion controls of the Wii Remote.

Among the remixed titles are Pac'n Roll, Galaga, Pac-Motos, Gator Panic and Rally-X. Staying true to their original form is Galaxian, Dig Dug, Mappy, Xevious, Gaplus, Super Pac-Man, Pac & Pal, Pac-Mania and Cutie-Q.

Atari has also released two concept drawings for the game. One features a large PacMan whose left eye has been replaced a scribble, and his arms and legs appear to be inserted into sockets residing in his body.

If nothing else this clarifies the continuity between the armless, legless original PacMan and this humanoid mutation.

Aye, those Namco compilations are absolutely shameful, especially when compared to the Atari, Taito, Capcom and Midway efforts.
