It's still to properly arrive in Japanese shops but already lucky Far Eastern gamers are starting to get their hands on Super Smash Bros. Brawl... and are posting all the secrets on the internet (that's your official spoiler warning, there).
Already uncovered by Japanese power players are secret characters Lucario (he's a Pokémon, if you didn't know), Falco (of Starfox sarcasm fame), R.O.B. the NES robot, Luigi, Ness, Marth, Wolf (Starfox) Mr. Game & Watch, Ganondorf, Toon Link and CVG favourite Captain Falcon.
Appearances have also been spotted from gigantic bosses Ridley (Metroid) and Master Hand, though it looks like they won't be playable in multiplayer.
There's also word that the Japanese version is shipping with a pretty dodgy bug, though that's yet to be confirmed.
The lucky Brawl owners are still ploughing away so keep checking back for more secrets. In the meantime, lay your eyes on the below screenshots while we try to resist buying an import copy.
has there ever been a game thats had so much shown, yet that info hardly seems to scratch the surface of this game, just need a releas date now, I reckon a month after Gta4.
Does he have different moves to Fox now? Or should we expect Young Link/WW Link, Dr.Mario/Paper Mario or Pichu/Raichu as well?

Ganondorf wasn't a complete clone as he played quite differently compared to falcon. Anyways he has s Final Smash move which reminds me of Bowser's Giga Bowser in that he turns into Ganon from TP (yet to finish my copy but I have been told its him). Falco and Fox played pretty much the same but apparently characters have been lugified in that they will have different, altered movesets, apparently.
Lol chrono trigger casts playable = no. Only third party characters are the ones we have known about for months. 35 character leak was almost accurate so it looks like thats your lot.

Joe would have been cool but most likely it would have been megaman from capcom that would have made the cut. Anyways, last character is wolf from starfox/lylatwars. 35 looks like all we get and I, for one, am grateful for that.

That is so not confirmed! Why does everyone expect Wolf to be in it? The character screen with him in is fake, and nobody has unlocked the final character. There isn't even a trophy shot of him. If anything, Krystal is more likely what with her voice actress confirmed. Also, we don't even know there'll only be 35 characters yet.You really think Nintendo would make it so that all the characters could be unlocked in a couple of days? No, characters'll keep popping up for a while methinks.
I got a feeling there will be a few characters released through download at Nintendo's leisure. Pokemon-style. They could time them to coincide with new releases.
It seems to be that people think that Wolf is the last playable character which I think sucks. Not because its a bad roster, but it just seems that Wolf being the last character to unlock (who seems to be a clone by watching the gameplay) is a big let down. The character we unlocked last in Melee was Game and Watch and he was a complete surprise with an original moveset. Just seems a bit odd that their isn't one more character with an original moveset to be revealed!?! Anyone else think there may be some more hidden? I heard there was three 3rd party characters but there only seems to be two on display at the moment.
I highly doubt that this is real as what has been posted as the character screen in the screenshots. This is because when you visit the SSB:B Dojo you see they have posted a screenshot of the starting lineup - character screen. Does anyone else notice that the Zelda one is diffrent? On the dojo it includes Sheik and yet in the this one it does not.
Also i highly doubt that Wolf is the last character as i expect to see Mewtwo make a return. I think these guys have just scratched the surface of who is in brawl - might see up to 10 more.

Yes I expect that nintendo will make it so characters can be unlocked in a couple of days BY THE HARDCORE. This game has been developed with newcomers and the casual in mind. They wont be rushing through this game that fast. Anyways possible downloadable content aside, this is your lot.

Most of the clones are just different enough, yeah. I still don't think Fox needed two clone-esque characters of him though (Both Falco and Wolf use the same moveset and Final Smash as him, abeit tweaked slightly).
As for the unlocks as I've heard it the reason all the characters were on the net so quickly is because, ala Melee, all characters can be unlocked through a certain number of multiplayer brawls as well as through other means. Therefore no doubt some "hardcore" peeps just kept starting and restarting the brawl until the "Challenger Approaching" message appeared
