If you're part of the rabid Tom Clancy fanbase still taking cover and pot-shotting terrorists in Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter 2, you'll be interested to hear that an entire new co-op campaign has arrived on Xbox Live - if you're willing to pay for it, that is.
A rather reasonable 800 Microsoft points (£.6.50) gets you five co-operative maps and a further four adversarial maps, two all-new and seven taken from earlier Ghost Recon games. There's also 125 gamerpoints worth of extra achievements, so we're well happy.
Co-op maps include Caves, Railroad Bridge, Battlefield, Plantation, Swamp Airfield, while the new adversarial playgrounds are Business Park and Rooftop. It all sounds quite Urban (and boring) to us, can we have a deathmatch level set in Sainsbury's, Ubisoft?
The publisher also notes that a free weapons pack, consisting of seven new guns for the game, should also be out now as well. Can't say fairer than that...
I really enjoyed this game when i rented it...I was considering buying it when I heard the news about this downloadable pack, but 800 points does seem a bit steep.
dude, your a funny guy. why on Earth would Ubisoft bring out online content on the Play station network? is that suppose to be a joke? or a trick question?.
right, look at the numbers above! and you'll find out the answer to your question. Ubisoft have over 1.1 million in sales on the Xbox 360. in fact they will sell more online GRAw2 content on the 360, than what there are PS3 numbers of the full game. so if your serious about getting some GRAW 2 love, my advice is buy an Xbox 360. its the same with GTA4, if you want the version with online future episodes, don't expect to find it on Sony's console. thats a gimmie! thats why I have a PS3 and 360. so I don't lose out.
