Giant Mythos gameplay movie

Five-minute in-game movie. Stick that in your guild and smoke it
A whopping five-minute gameplay movie from Flagship Studios' MMO Mythos can been seen in our video player on the right.

Mythos is currently in beta, and the movie focuses on a new, third zone soon to be added to the test.

Played from an isometric viewpoint, Mythos is very much Diablo-style with non-stop action and loot dropping liking it's going out of fashion.

The game world works a bit like Guild Wars. Each zone has a central town, a number of instances of which can exist depending on the population level in this hub.

Once you leave the hub to embark on quests, everything is instanced and randomly generated, from paths through to dungeons to the dungeons themselves.

So, once you venture into the wild, it's either just you on your own or you with your party of plucky fellow adventures pitted against the opponents the game throws at you.

When it's on full public release, you'll be able to download and play Mythos for free, which is bloody brilliant in our book.

It looks even better if you enlarge it.

I have loved C&VG since they reviewed Sinclair Spectrum games. But the media player on this site is the most horrendous I've ever seen.

I been in the beta since last summer and it is decent fun, if a little shallow. Though with developing content I'm sure that'll improve.

I have 9 spare invites too. So if you are interested send me a PM with your e-mail (I need it to invite you).
