Hackers uncover Rock Band secrets?

Fans dig too deep to find the names of unreleased tracks
Technical minded Rock Band fans (who'd have guessed they existed?) digging around the game's back end have found a list of unreleased tracks that could possibly be next for the unstoppable onslaught of Rock Band DLC content.

We would crack out our awesome hacking skills and check this up ourselves, but the UK doesn't exist in the world of Rock Band, even though Harmonix is quite content to pillage the best of British seventies punk every week for DLC.

Here's the full list:

(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction
Alabama Getaway
Beetlebum
Behind Blue Eyes
Blinded By Fear
Breed
Brown Sugar
Casey Jones
China Cat Sunflower
Come as You Are
D.O.A.
Drain You
El Scorcho
Franklin's Tower
Fuel
Hysteria
I Need A Miracle
Lithium
Lounge Act
March Of The Pigs
Message In A Bottle
On a Plain
Pinball Wizard
Polly
Received Your Letter
Rock 'n' Roll Star
Sex Type Thing
Shadow World
Shooting Star
Simple Man
Smells Like Teen Spirit
Something in the Way
Stay Away
Sugar Magnolia
Supernaut
Territorial Pissings
The Collector
The Perfect Drug
Thrasher
Through the Monsoon
Truckin'
Why Do You Love Me?
Wrathchild
Zero

And if you've read this far, you deserve to know that we left one out of there just for our hardcore readers. A song called "Still Alive" is also included on the list, which would be just the best news... if we could play Rock Band.

Thats all very well, but i can see the accumulative costs of owning this game and all the peripherals as being extemely off putting.

I can see a few Nirvana and Who songs..

Maybe these are from the full albums due for possible release.

Just too bad Rock Band ain't out in the UK yet. How much longer do I need to wait?

And if Still Alive is the same song I think it is, I just might have a perpetually fixed smile on my face.

Nice, more NIN songs, and better ones than that crappy track Hand That Feeds.

Still Alive! AWESOME

I thought that too. The Perfect Drug is a nice addition, even though its a bit happier than Mr Rezners usual affairs.

No! Is it? No! But it might be! Ooh, is it!? That would be the second greatest musical gaming moment of all time.

Thatjust about all of Nivanas Nevermind Album! Shocked

And some Foos tracks in there too, sweet. Smile
Ragon on 15 Feb '08
These discovered tracks were meant to be part of the game at launch but for whatever reason didn't make it most of them for licensing issues. Nirvana's nevermind album was meant to be the first full album download available at launch along with The Whos "who's next" but it never happened for them either, they may end up at some point as DLC but I wouldn't go saying its a 100% certainty
