Free Radical has assured PS3 owners that the delays slapped on its platform-exclusive FPS Haze have meant the game is far better as a result. But it's bound to say that isn't it?
"While we can't explicitly say what improvements we've made (I'd love to tell you all the cool stuff we've been putting in!... but I also love my job too...)", a Free Radical staffer teased on Ubisoft forums, "I can guarantee you that the extra bit of time has made a big difference for the better".
Well, thank goodness for that. We were beginning to wonder...
The spokesperson goes on to say the team understands the frustration gamers have been experiencing thanks to the topsy-turvy release date, "but we just want to make sure things are right for the people who'll be playing Haze *very* soon".
"...maybe once Haze is sat toasting away in your PS3s we'll be able to do some post mortem video's/articles for you lot, and explain what's gone in and what improved with the bit of extra time we had", they add.
I wondered what had happened to this game, all had been quiet for a while now.
Anyway, while I don't have a PS3, I'm interested as to what the quality of this game will turn out like - exclusives will become increasingly rarer (especially in the next gen I imagine), so the exclusives this gen could be the last of a rare kind!
Up until about a month ago this was my most anticipated PS3 game. Ive now gone past caring. Maybe when its released it will get some good reviews & my interest will peak again
Looks p*ss poor from what I have seen. I also have heard about the poor frame rate, but looking at the graphics, its hard to see why the PS3 is brakeing a sweat displaying this bland Halo wannabe!
Well i was looking forward to this game - sadly i have lost interest in the game now - Now Crysis that is the game to play!! forget your 360 and PS3 for a couple of months (mine have had there standby light on for a while now, accept PS3 Tekken Online Rulez!) and upgrade your PC's because this is one mint game!

Halo wannabe? Only thing that the 2 have in common is its a FPS?!?! In that case then i can say "Go on Halo you Doom bland wannabe?" Also Frame Rate? isnt Halo like the SLOWESSSSSSSST FPS everyone has ever played?

I beg to differ. Drop ships with buggys dropping off the back! Quad bikes!! Also, do you know what frame rate means? Halo may be slow, but its not jerky.

Wow they really went all out in adding QUAD bikes and buggys DROPPING off ships! OMG Warner Bro's eat your heart out!!! Haaaaaaaa
Ah sorry may have got my view on FPS wrong there then! Still i a slow as hell game, that was wayyy over hyped never felt so much disapointment
I was really looking forward to this game before Christmas. The hype though i think has died down a little, with Killzone 2 on the horizon (i like the look of it anyway), and, more importantly, Unreal Tournament III booking up my PS3.
Sounded interesting until I saw how pathetic this game looked and no I am not just talking about the graphics. It just looks really poor in my view, not interested.

Unreal T3 is a mint game, purely an online game though! Im waiting for Tekken 6 myself! Driving me CrAzY!
