Disaster: Day of Crisis dated?

German retailer receives word on Wii release date
Much delayed Wii game Disaster: Day of Crisis has been dated by a German online retailer and is tapped for release on May 30, this year.

Developed by Monolith Studios, Disaster: Day of Crisis is a panic-inducing action game that pits the player against a series of natural disasters occurring in the United States.

As if that wasn't enough, a group of rogue commandos has taken advantage of the improbable chain of events and seized possession of an atomic weapon.

Crickey. If this game does well, just imagine what they're going to do for the sequel.

To see more about the game, check out our game page.

We've asked Nintendo about the date and are still waiting to hear back.

Yea, I've only seen a few early screenshots.
Looks good and the whole idea sounds really good.
Wii's going to have a good year I think.

From the brief video and screenshots I've seen, I'm very excited about the general concept of this disaster game. If the physics engine is as good as they say, it should be a very involving story and a roller-coaster ride from start to finish.

Nintendo can do mature games, they showed that with Eternal Darkness. Monolith Soft are a great developer too so I'd be very surprised if this game didn't rate from 80% upwards.
