No More Heroes delayed again

Whatever happened to the heroes? They died, waiting for this game
Rising Star Games, UK Publisher of No More Heroes, has changed the release date for the highly anticipated Suda '51 title.

Thankfully, it's only by a week - the game will now be hitting shelves on March 14.

No More Heroes has so far had a troubled release, especially in its native country of Japan. Despite positive reviews, the game has so far sold only 40,000 copies since its launch on December 6.

American audiences were far more receptive towards the title, with 100,000 copies sold in the month since its release.

Our advice? Grit your teeth and take the pain of waiting yet another week for what NGamer called "a videogaming lesson in ten parts" in its 94 percent review. We think it will be worth it.

14 th of march isn't just a week later! it's another full 2 weeks, it was ment to be out today. let's hope it's because they've decided to give us the unedited bloody version.

I suppose it's a good thing, considering there are about another six games, all released in February, that I still want to purchase.

And who said that this time of year is quiet for software releases!?

Better in the US than Japan? What does that tell you, Suda 51? Oh yes, don't censor your games. People don't like it. If it does badly in Europe too, you know what you did wrong.

That's 3 weeks.
But it was supposed to be out next week (29th), not today, so it is a 2 week delay... Which is ghey.

I doubt it is His fault for the censorship...

I understood that he chose to censor it to pre-empt any trouble from the BBFC (and Japanese equivalent). Dunno why, not like Killer 7 was devoid of blood.

Nice to see Ninty twist the knife into the belly of the Euros AGAIN. *shakes head*

Don't know why you've decided to blame Nintendo for this. They're not even publishing the game.

I cannot remember a previous period in gaming where so many good releases have hit home.

I still havnt finished off last years crop (no where near in fact).

this is annoying as i was lookin forward to using my wii again! but it gives me a bit more time to play unreal, turok, dmc4 and the club so its not too bad.
im hopin the killer7 make a cameo in there somewhere

any news on a freeloader for wii? i refuse to play the edited version, shame really. i loved killer 7 and was looking forward to this but i've seen plenty of video of the us version with beheadings and general dismemberment and would, quite simply, miss it too much in the watered down, cat, european version. as i said before, shame.
