Battlestations dev listening "very carefully" to fans

Fan feedback to feature in Battlestations: Pacific
Battlestations: Pacific developer Eidos has been heavily influenced by the community when developing its upcoming Xbox 360 and PC flight sequel, producer Adam Lay has told CVG.

"We have been listening very carefully to our fans and great online community to make sure we deliver the best possible content, and we can reveal that Battlestations: Pacific will include many of the most highly requested units," the Battlestations dev told CVG in a recent interview.

Pacific is set to include a range of new bombers, destroyers, AA guns and land vehicles - many influenced by the Battlestations fanbase. Two highly requested units, the F4U Corsair and the F6F Hellcat fighters, are two examples Lay gave us.

"We are also very excited about the Kamikaze planes which can be controlled for the first time when playing as the Japanese. We think that these units will provide a new gameplay experience and will change the way multiplayer games are played."

The online carnage that will induce doesn't bare thinking about...

There are 21 new units in total, "not including the new battleships." They have been bust boys.

Look for the full interview soon.
