Fable 2 will be released on May 30 with a PEGI rating of 16+, if you're to believe game e-tailer Play.com.
Attendees of last weekend's Play.com Live event received goodie bags containing a booklet that apparently dated and rated the anticipated Xbox 360 title.
Previous reports have tapped the game to come out no earlier than October this year, so we're naturally a bit sceptical.
We've dropped Microsoft a line anyway to get a positive denial, as there's a whole host of reasons not to expect the game anywhere other than leading up to Christmas.
For now though, Xbox 360 owners can pray to whatever gods they believe in for all this not to be a gigantic mistake on the part of Play.
It would make sense to push it early to convince potential new buyers of GTA to get the 360 and pick this up after. and it sort of says get this instead of MGS.
Gotta say this game isn't high on my wishlist with games like GTA IV,Fallout 3 and Gears of War 2 (to mention a few) not to mention a little backlog of games I still gotta get like Call of Duty 4 and Mass Effect,Fable 2 is gonna have to be really good to sneak into my games rack.Games ain't cheap in South Africa you know . . .
Don't believe it, if you looked in more of the mag guys you would have seen it dated Ninja Gaiden II for the 28th March among many other incorrect dates, they must have used GamesMaster mags' release list.
Yeah, I read on Gamespot that Play.com have said that Ninja Gaiden II will be out on the 28th of March. If that happens, I'll do the dance of joy. But I seriously doubt it will be. I think it'll be mid May at the earliest.
Just sounds like Play taking a wild guess. I've watched the developer diaries for this game and in one of them it was suggested that this game would be released around the September/Otober period.

Games aren't cheap over here either. Though I do appreciate those things can be way pricey in South Africa. I have some SA friends, and they were telling me about the price of a PS2 On the plus side, your booze is dirt cheap - go out and drunk instead
I think that retailers tend to do this so that games show up as "coming soon" earlier than they would otherwise. Means people put in their pre-orders earlier maybe.
