Prey 2 officially revealed

Building on the mind-bending portal and gravity-defying gameplay of the original, apparently
Prey 2 has now been officially revealed following yesterday's teaser concept art and initial plot details.

Confirmed for PC and Xbox 360, the sequel shoves you back into the boots of Tommy, the reluctant hero of Prey who saved Earth from alien invasion.

"This time, abandoned and framed for the disappearance of his family and girlfriend, Tommy escapes an Earth that no longer wants him for a future that cannot survive without him", is the word on the storyline.

"Building on the mind-bending portal and gravity-defying gameplay of the original with several innovative new twists, Prey 2 promises to once again take players into a compelling science-fiction world with breathtaking visuals and adrenaline-pumping action gameplay".

There's no word on a release date as yet.

Shame it's not on the PS3, but thankfully my PC should be able to run this.

I'm banking on everything on the 360 that isn't on the PS3 will also appear on the PC!

That's why I'm currently downloa....er... buying Bioshock

That story sounds as naff as they come but it still should be fun. I just hope they get rid of the 'you couldn't die' aspect of the first game and ditch the lame multiplayer mode.

agree totally, it took the tension out of the game cause you could allways hop back in from the spirit world..essentialy making you indestructable.

I still enjoyed it, looked gorgeous and the portalls and wall walking were fun.

Actualy, thnk I may have another go with it now...

Prey was great but way too short. I hope the sequel is much longer.

If the spirit world had become more difficult each time you died, it would have worked. But with it being exactly the same each time, it just sucked.

The spirit world did get slightly harder as the game progressed, and I think it should still be in the new one. More of a penalty would be better though.
