Southpeak Games has offered brief confirmation on Two Worlds: The Temptation, a full sequel to RPG Two Worlds.
Shouldn't the sequel have been called Three Worlds? Ahem.
Anyway, events in The Temptation kick off shortly after those portrayed in the original game and it's apparently set in the Eastern Antaloor, in the regions surrounding Oswaroh and the Drak'ar Desert. Great names.
"Featuring as much content as the original, Two Worlds: The Temptation will feature more intricate missions, improved voice-overs and animations, retooled horseback riding, completely revamped combat, and a new game engine that delivers visuals that have to be seen to be believed", says Southpeak.
You can see first screenshots on this page. It's out on PC and Xbox 360 in the autumn.
I'm playing through Two Worlds(360) right now, and I'm absolutley loving the game despite the negative reviews. Oblivion and this both have there good and bad points but I'm glad I went out and bought it cheap for 20quid cuz I havent played a good open RPG like this since, well, oblivion
Hopefully I'll finish everything before the sequel and they better sort out the multiplayer this time!
Why would any developer make a sequel for a game which was so appalling. The 360 version got 50% on Metacritic. The other formats didn't do much better.
I played the demo and it was crap - frame rate was terrible, combat was boring, environments looked nice but were very linear.
If they don't want the Stamp of Epic Failure (TM) the sequel better have some serious changes in there.

If were comparing to oblivion here:
I must be playing the game on a xbox360 super version cuz my framerate isnt terrible! ( game has been patched since the demo ). The combat is the same as oblivion with a different view( hack and slash minus the hassle of stamina and items breaking )enemies dont lv up either so I actually feel my character getting stronger unlike getting killed by that silly golblin I faced 30hours ago and I seem to remember EVERY SINGLE dungeon, temple and oblivion plane looking exactly the same - talk about linear.
If were not comparing to oblivion then fair enough...
Well if the games lives up to the screen shots I will keep a close eye on this one. I played about 3 minutes of the two worlds demo and then deleted it, the main reason was I thought the graphics were apalling...especially after Oblivion...which even now is starting to look dated. If the rest of the games graphics are like these screens and the gameplay on a par with Oblivion this could be a gem...then again it could be a pretty bag of s**t.

I d/l the demo 3-4times before I decied too play through it all ( about 2hours long ) and then decided to buy the full game. But yeah the very start of the demo is shaky but after some quests, leveling ups, screwing with items and exploring I found it very enjoyable. Id recommend you brave it again till the end!
I am saddened by comments that seem to say that there should only be one game and nothing copied.
I don't mind someone copying the format and style of a game just that they do it well. I'd love to play another good game in the style of Oblivion but Two Worlds isn't it.
I liked the first 2 worlds, except for one glaring feature: Overpowered weapons. The weapon stacking was a cool idea, but in the end it ruined the game. I was uber -ultimate half-way through the game and I could destroy everything easily. The game needed balance in that department and it could have been fairly good. I even liked it more then oblivion, because oblivion was a pile of s**t without mods installed.
Wow how did they manage to pull the wool over the eyes of the suits to convince them of a sequel!!???.... they obviously havent played a game since ET on the Atari.
