Bourne demo next month, Vivendi confirms

... in the US at least, European trial "awaiting confirmation"
A demo of Vivendi's excellent-looking The Bourne Conspiracy will be arriving on the North American Xbox Live Marketplace next month, the company has confirmed to CVG.

A European date of the High Moon Studios action demo - and indeed a PlayStation Network appearance - is still "awaiting confirmation," says the publisher. Although considering the game's out three weeks prior in the US, it wouldn't be surprising if they got the trial a little sooner than us.

The game itself, which is a mega crossover with the Bourne books and the shaky-cam films (but minus Matt Damon's face), is looking rather tasty. It's got a focus on hand-to-hand combat, quick-fire QTE sequences and driving Minis through Russian pedestrians at 60mph.

You can read our own hands-on impressions right here, and look for it in the shops on June 27.

Will the demo be released in Europe before the game is released in America?

Hope they get their fingers out with the UK demo, i'm really curious about this game and would like the chance to try before buying.

Be very interested in how this game pans out. In many of the previews i've read it sounds a little bit 'Stranglehold' i only hope to god that it doesn't end up 'a little bit Stranglehold'.

This game does look really nice. I remember looking at it ages ago and thinking it didn't look that great, but they've done an awesome job polishing the graphics. I'm really interested to see if the gameplay works and if the storylines any good. I'm definitely going to have to wait for the demo, before i decide to purchase or not.

All I can say is that the thoughts of the demo coming out soon makes me hard (as a rock) !!
